"I went two weeks ago to texas music city grill smokehouse tyler with four of my friends for a much needed date night. all of us girls either work, are mothers, in school, or a combination of everything, and we do not have the opportunity to spend enough time together much less from the house. we have a few weeks in advanced for our girls datenight booked and when we arrived, texas music led us directly on a terrace table. even though we arrived on a Saturday night, they made sure that we kept our reservation in time. mary was our server and she informed us in two hours, it would play live music outside on the terrace. we were really not sure whether we would stay two hours; we stayed good over two hours because, how wonderful it was eating, how good the drinks were, how much we laughed, but above all, how good mary was worried about us. our table was always full, drinks never ran out, eating was hot and fresh, and mary had let us laugh all night. mary made our night really enjoyable. we had no idea what we wanted to eat or drink because we were involved in the conversation, but thankful was mary (and patient lol) and she could help us in the decision. I had the king ranch **** mary, a few other amazing drinks (one was blue), garnelen tacos, and we had about four different appetizers. we tried about nine different drinks between the table and all the recommendations of mary were wonderful. this **** mary was like a whole meal and the drink was so good. we will definitely be back on our next girl datenight!"

"This is my second trip to this restaurant. For the first time, I was too worried to actually go in and eat. That was a big mistake. When I went to dinner for the first time, I was completely new in Tyler and looking for Sushi nearby. GoFish is 5 minutes away. So I jumped into my car, went on and saw a large square bow that looked more like a fast food joint than a beautiful Japanese restaurant. I saw a Deli counter look. And they had a ride through the window! So I just didn't throw it out. It just didn't seem like it was a good experience. I know that maybe that was a little biased by me. So today I went back to a second attempt. And yes, you order in a register/bar area, just like a deli. And there were only about a dozen tables where you sat. But still I was very impressed with the meal. The food was very fresh and well presented. I suspected sushi when the fish gets a little older, he starts to smell and taste. And I'm sure I'll get the pancreas later. Nothing of it was obvious here! Everything was very clean tasting. I ordered the Crazy Tuna (Picky Tuna, Mango and Panko inside, cut tuna and avocado outside), the AAC (Avocado, Spargel, Gurke), the Unagi roll (Eel) and some fried gyoza (pumps). The Crazy Tuna was super delicious. I find mango in sushi can be very hit or miss, but that was just the right amount of sweet-it was not overwhelmed or stuffed. The asparagus in the AAC role was the delicate part of the tip and was not holy. It had a hint of bite, so it wasn't muddy either. The Unagi roll was sweet and juicy. Although the sauce was a bit sweeter than I used to. The Gyoza was crisp, hot and tasty. The Sushi rice was well fed with the right amount of vinegar, and the Gyoza sauce had this hint of ginger I was looking for when I have dumplings. I'm glad I gave this place a second look. It is not a traditional Japanese restaurant setup. But it was certainly delicious. And with the happy hour price, it was about half the price I would have spent in one of the other sushi restaurants I would normally have eaten."
