"What happened to Red Lobster? The cheddar bay biscuits are now only as big as a golf ball and you only get 3 of them. They used to be the size of a fist. The service was terrible, we had to ask for butter, knife, and a plate. The knives were dirty and not clean, you can see in the pictures. There were visible water stains on the knife. We ended up spending almost $50 (after a 10% military discount) for just 2 people at lunch. We didn't even order lobster. The portions were small. The food was hot and tasted okay, but not worth the money we paid. It's disappointing to see such a large restaurant chain decline in quality. My advice, go to Texas Roadhouse for your steak and shrimp. Better value and better quality."

"I 've been to this place 7 or 8 times due to the convenience of location. It just keeps getting worse! The food runner delivered my food, no silverware, no drink, no server to be found, and the runner RAN before I could say anything.The female manager is extremely rude and ignorant. I highly recommend you avoid this place! I try to live by the rule if you have nothing nice to say ....but I don 't want someone else being treated the way I was."

"The server was amazing. Very helpful and knowledgeable about everything in the menu. The food was okay. I had ribs and I thought the meat was a little hard. The broccoli was under Cooke until it was still crispy. The green beans could have been boiled a little longer. No matter how the food was, I enjoyed my time there."

"Magee’s has been a staple of the Finger Lakes for generations. I grew up coming here as a kid. It was a little bit of a drive from Syracuse, so it was always a treat when we visited. As I got older, I was always excited to go Black Friday shopping, because we’d stop at Magee’s after. When I began dating my girlfriend, now wife, we would have lunch here after a morning of looking at available rental homes in the area. We had toured a townhouse in Geneva one morning in 2018 with Fall Street Rentals and felt like it was confirmation that this was the place for us because our Magee's coffee mugs we got that morning had the Fall Street Rentals logo on the side. We loved the 2 years we spent in Geneva and had many memorable meals at Magee's. When we moved away in 2020, once again Magee's became a treat we looked forward to when visiting friends and family, and they were always happy when i mentioned Magee's because it was a fan favorite. Our group of friends was together in the area this weekend, so when one mentioned brunch today, of course we decided on Magee's. When we arrived we overheard talk of Magee's closing and asked our server if it was true. We were heartbroken when we heard the confirmation that yes, Magee's would be closing in a week. I called my friends and family in the area after we left and told them the news. It feels like a member of the family has passed away. Thank You so much to all the staff and crew for the years of memories and meals you've given me. From the time I was a child, until today when I enjoyed my final meal at Magee's, sat between my wife, and our two year old son, I have never had a bad experience and will always remember Magee's Country Diner! You will be missed!"

"I placed an order tonight and encountered some issues. The lady who took my order seemed a bit confused, and I’m not sure if she was new. I ordered a sausage and meatball sub, but only received the meatball sub. I also ordered the Rustica pasta and specifically requested no black olives. She insisted there were no olives in the dish, despite me pointing out that they were listed in the description. When we received the dish, it was loaded with olives, and my sister-in-law couldn’t eat it. Additionally, all the salad dressings were supposed to be Italian, but we only received oil and vinegar, which is not the same. I was very disappointed with the lack of communication, especially after spending $180."

"My fiance and I met some friends there for dinner. It was my first time to eat here and I definitely will go back. The atmosphere was fantastic and the service exceptional. I had the Filet, my fiance had the Prime Rib and both of these dinners were amazing. I recomend this restaurant and we will go back"

"I gave it five on atmosphere because it's perfect for us. It's a bar and grill, not fancy. But the service could not have been better, very impressed with that. Now the food... Holy smokes! I had what would be referred to as a hot beef sandwich but I've never seen one like it. Huge. Hot. Tasty. No complaints anywhere, we will be back."

"I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I ordered a Southwestern avocado salad without meat, but received a Biggie bag with a salad that had both chicken and meat on it. I returned it and got another one, but this time it didn't even have avocado. I gave up and ended up eating a cheese and tomato salad instead. The nuggets were also unexpectedly spicy, when we were expecting the regular ones."

"There is a food quality issue here. Cucumbers are frozen to container and some rotten. She actually scaped them off the side and put them on my sandwich. With the ice crystals still attached. I told her to remove and replace. The spinach look like it old and the tomatoes are half ripe. White centers. All this is on display. They obviously do not care what they serve. "We have come to appreciate Milestones for consistency in food and atmosphere. Last night our service experience wasn't great. Our server didn't keep an eye on our water and we had to ask multiple times for it to be filled. The food came in good time, but all of the regular check in times and transitions (from app to main to dessert to bill) were slow and spaced out much further than required."

"Last night at 9:45 am I placed an order online. It should be delivered up to 10:35. When it didn't come at 11 what the closing time was, I called her. You had never received my online order, although I had received a confirmation email and my card was charged. The manager couldn't find out and offer me a loan or money. Then he offered to turn on the ovens again and repair our order. Our order was then delivered along with a bonus chocolate chip cookie treatment. This is a great example of the treatment of people. Thanks for going beyond and beyond and staying too late to do this right."
