"Really disappointing. I ordered 2 pizzas, The works and custom with peporoini and olives, and they both tasted identical. everything was so bland that they basically didnt have taste (other than the sausage, which had a strong pepper favor). Everything else was extremely bland."

"Not worth the price. Ordered Loaded dawgs, Late night dawgs, and classic. I recieved 2 out of the 3. the loaded was replaced with buffalo which none of us ate. Also had an order of chili fries come without the chili. Overall weak performance but the late night and classic tasted good."

"I loved everything!!! Ordered the BIGG Cookie, a non toasted plain Bagel Cream Cheese and a vanilla Cappuccino. The Cappuccino was my favorite. So much flavor!! My kids loved the BIGG Cookie and were shocked at how big it actually was. It apos;s was all so yummy! Thank you!!!!"

"Everything was alright. I guess I expected more flavor from the Cajun Tenders and the fries. Fries were super soggy when I got them, need to be shaken a lot more from the oil when pulled from fryer. The Boudin Bites werent good at all, had a weird outer layer that seemed to be burnt."

"Their food can be good or it can be bad depending on who is cooking. The value of food has gone down since my last visit over two years ago. The previous visit included veggies as a appetizer and a small slice of cake for dessert. They do not do those two thongs anymore."

"Must try! Everything is unique and packed with flavor. Their rolls are light, crispy, and full of flavor. Their skewers are sweet, tangy, and have a perfect grilled flavor! This place was something I haven't experienced before and will be going back when I am in the Wausau area again."

"Have been enjoying Carmelo's for a long time. Service and the food have been above average for a Wausau restaurant. It is understood that many restaurants are hiring servers to fill slots and service may not always be up to par these days. Saw it first hand tonight which was very disappointing having invited first time guests. Our server was pretty rough and lack that hospitality warmth. We were only a 4 top and the server had us passing the entrees to each other. The entrees that were placed hit the table hard and was not even directly in front of the guest. I was attempting to chuckle it off but my first time guests saw that the server was not as good as they have had at other restaurants. Refills on the bread was not offered. Had to ask several times for drink refills. At one point the bartender was blamed even though it was not an alcohol beverage. I feel that my guests will not be back and when return I will ask for a different server so we can have a much nicer evening. The food was as good as ever. It is just to bad the evening was not up to Carmelo's standards."
