"Wow, this place is a little gem in Weymouth. Its a little hard to find, as it is off of the main roads. NB: Cash only!! So my husband likes to smoke brisket, ribs, etc on the weekends, and we love making pulled pork in the crockpot. However, we don't usually do all three at once, so when we went to check out Red Rose, we were super-excited to see a combo plate with all three, plus fries and coleslaw for under $20. It was enough for us both. The food was amazing. The pulled pork was really the stand-out for me, but I love it so I might be biased. My husband thought the brisket was pretty good, and brisket is sometimes a difficult meat to smoke. I like a little bit more of a crunchy bark on the outside, but I thought it was good. My husband thought the ribs were great, but I didn't try any because I wanted to avoid the mess. If you go in or check the website there is some more background on the chefs, I guess they do BBQ contests and are pretty successful. The bar itself was teeny tiny. The poor bartender was our waitress also, I hope she has some help on the weekends. She was great, though. There are some locals hanging around, but don't be intimidated."
