"Unfortunately this time wasn\'t a great experience. Service was excellent however, food was disappointing and one particular entrée wasn\'t prepared as listed. The table we were seated at was too close to the bar area especially when patrons are allowed to stand around and not required to be seated. It was a traffic flow issue for servers. Management didn\'t seem to want to tell the bar patrons to get a table and Management didn\'t seem bothered that his wait staff had to move around those causing the flow issue. Additionally those bar patrons were loud and boisterous interrupting our evening. This also didn\'t seem to impact management when we asked that something be done about the issue/patrons.... he offered to move us. But why should we have to move.... why not disperse the rowdy guests!"

"My fella loves this place but I’ve had a hard time going back ever since the server explained to me they lamb and fish are vegan. He was very nice but come on lamb and fish vegan? It’s hard to eat anything they make after a comment like that. Also too oily for my taste. update 2/10/2020 They finally have their vegan options listed separately on the menu so you don’t have to worry when ordering... a huge plus to me since before the server didn’t realize shrimp and lamb are not vegan"

"We had a relatively pleasant dinner at this restaurant. The only issue was that it was a bit crowded and noisy, but that's to be expected during dinner time. Our waitress was efficient and friendly, although she was a bit talkative which resulted in a delay of about 25 minutes for our dessert and check. Other than that, everything was satisfactory."

"We visited this restaurant for the first time on a busy Sunday morning and it was packed, resulting in a long wait. However, it was worth it. "Greek heaven has arrived in Winston-Salem! In my opinion, this is one of the top Greek restaurants in all of North Carolina. The food is consistently well-prepared, the service is prompt, and the drive-thru option makes it even more convenient. However, what really sets this place apart is the exceptional customer service provided by the friendly staff. They greet you like family and send you off with a warm farewell that will make you want to return. This restaurant and its delectable dishes truly deserve to be treasured."

"I have yet to try another hibachi in Winston-Salem that tops this one for me. Kimono is a staple! There are several locations around, including Clemmons, Welcome, and Kernersville, but I'm most familiar with this location. 9 times out of 10, I usually opt for takeout, because hibachi is just one of those meals that is easy to grab and go. If you're going that route, this location does a high volume of takeout, so they've got it down. They're always pleasant on the phone, and I've never had my order be incorrect. And let me tell ya, I get a LOT of takeout from Kimono. I wanted to grab something prior to grocery shopping, so this particular instance I decided to dine in. My mom and I split the Kimono for 2, which is honestly a stellar value. It's $34 total, but this gets you a TON of food. It comes with chicken, steak, shrimp and scallops. No decision making needed here! You can also do rice or noodles, and I love having that option. Both are delicious! You can also do hibachi, teriyaki or spicy teriyaki. I can't remember if you get soup or salad or both, but I know I walked away with another full meal. They do a really nice presentation too. The scallops have a nice little sear, the steak is tender, the chicken is flavorful... it's just good food. This comes out to under $20 a person and I just really don't think you can beat the portions and the prices. The service is always prompt and friendly, and they're good about accommodating bigger parties. I often see a lot of families, so it's definitely family friendly. The parking lot is behind the building."

"I recently had the Hero House experience through online ordering and pick-up. I have been a fan of Hero House since their original location next to the colosseum, and I remember when they had two locations. Today, I decided to show my support by ordering from them. I was torn between ordering online or calling in my order. After waiting a long time on the phone, I ended up placing my order online. I ordered their Greek salad with feta cheese, kalamata olives, mint, green pepper, tomato, cucumber, and onions. I also got their homemade onion rings. The ordering process online was quick and easy, and I received a pickup time with clear directions. When I arrived at the restaurant, my food was ready and I was in and out in no time. However, I noticed that the salad portion was smaller than I remembered, and it didn't come with a breadstick as it used to. The onion rings were not the best either, as the batter seemed off. I left feeling unsatisfied with my meal and wondering if the owners of Hero House still check in on the quality of their food. There are other restaurants in the area that serve similar Greek cuisine, so Hero House should not neglect their customer service, food presentation, or quality. It has been a while since I last visited Hero House, and I am unsure when I will return."

"We had dinner at Bad Daddy's this past weekend for the first time in a few years, and it definitely did not disappoint. The service was excellent, and we did not go unattended and our drinks were never empty. The parmesan truffle fries are incredible, and our absolute favorite thing on the menu. The fried pickles were really delicious as well. Our burgers were perfectly cooked, and the serving size on our sides was very, very generous. Clean restaurant, laid back atmosphere, great food, and excellent customer service. If you're looking for a good burger and some really well done apps, this is a must."

"I visited the restaurant yesterday and ordered my usual foot long sandwich. I asked for pepper jack cheese, but they mistakenly used mozzarella instead. When I pointed out the error, the employee seemed annoyed and mentioned that the slices of cheese cost $2.00. I explained that it was not my fault they made the mistake. Despite his displeasure, he eventually replaced the mozzarella with pepper jack cheese. Due to the rude behavior of the employee, I have decided to go to Kernersville for my sub sandwiches in the future. There was no reason for his attitude."

"On July 9th, 2022, I purchased a package of Moravian sugar cookies for my wife. Each package was priced at $28. I bought one at the Reynolda store and noticed that the expiration date was August 2nd, 2022. I checked other containers of sugar cookies and they all had similar expiration dates. I went to the Thruway store and found the same issue. It's disappointing that a well-established company like Dewey's would deceive customers in this way. There were still about 16 days until the expiration date, yet the price remained high at $28. It would have been more fair to offer them at a discounted price, but it seems Dewey's would rather take our money. This feels like a scam against American consumers. This behavior is indicative of larger issues in our economy. Could this be a part of American history? If they were to reduce the price by half, I doubt they would lose any profit. Beware of such practices."

"They brought me ham and cheese omelette and I had ordered a veggie omelette. The place was freezing cold to the point I couldn't wait to get out of there. It was also very loud with people packed in too tightly. Cake was average at best. I had the macadamia nut carrot cake. Sounds wonderful but it wasn't. It had a weird plasticky texture. I've had regular carrot cake that was way better. Oh and the omelette had the veggies on outside rather than the inside. Is that a hipster thing? Home fries were literally deep fried and some were so hard they could not be chewed. On a positive note...the ice tea was good!"

"We were seated for our reservation right on time. Our server was excellent! Really great, actually. She was careful to make sure we were well cared for. The food was excellent. No complaints from anyone our group and some of them are really picky. My only complaint with this location is the noise level. With a full restaurant (as it was Saturday), you can barely hear people at your table speaking. It’s really quite deafening! Fundamentally, this is a building design issue and is nearly completely correctable. Add some sound absorption to the space and bring it down a few dB’s!"

"This place is delicious! Great BBQ and really good service. The staff is super friendly and hospitable. You order at the counter and bring your food to you. Many seats and a few TVs. Gluten free friendly and also that is a great bonus. Your brisket, turkey, sweet potatoes, pulled pig, Texas toast and sauces are delicious. The 3 cheese Mac N cheese was a bit bland and could have been better, but I would dine here again. Thanks for a great experience guys!"

"This is one of my favorite dining spots in area!. It is an overall great choice for excellent food at a very reasonable price. All appetizers, entrees, and desserts that my wife and I have had here were wonderful. That, along with excellent service from the wait staff, make OSO Eats our go-to-place for great food. It isn't as well known yet as other high-rated dining spots in the area, but there's no doubt that it will be!"
