"Mediterra in Princeton offers an exceptional dining experience with a focus on Mediterranean cuisine. The restaurant is known for its delightful ambiance, perfect for romantic dinners, business meetings, and special occasions. The menu features a variety of vegetarian and vegan options, making it a great choice for those with dietary preferences. We loved every single dish we tried and there was no scope of any complaint at any point. The flavor was spot on! We captured few pictures and few we could not as the dish was more enticing than the thought of clicking a picture. Now, this is a true testament of great food. One standout dish is the Pastaless Lasagna, which combines roasted eggplant, garlic spinach, pomodoro, basil, and fresh mozzarella. Another favorite is the Market Bowl, which includes spring pea falafel, couscous, avocado, asparagus, roasted zucchini, and mint chutney-yogurt, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to flavorful vegetarian fare. We appreciated the attentive service and the relaxed yet elegant atmosphere. The outdoor seating is particularly pleasant, providing a wonderful setting to enjoy a meal. Whether you're indulging in their famous paella or savoring their flourless chocolate cake for dessert, Mediterra consistently delivers on taste and presentation.Their empanada, with mushrooms, how could I miss mentioning that, it had the most flaky crust, yet crispy and soft, and best tasting filling in it! Overall, Mediterra is a top choice for those seeking a memorable dining experience in Princeton, offering a diverse menu, excellent service, and a welcoming environment."

"I have been going to The Bent Spoon since the day they opened. But sadly, they no longer behave like a local ice cream shop that treats you like a neighbor. I 'm cool with the crowds, but today was a step too far. We stopped in with our 10, 8 3 year old. The five of us all like different flavors of ice cream, which isn 't uncommon I imagine. But check this out...when I ordered 1 scoop of vanilla for our 3 year old, I was told they only serve 2 scoops per order. OK, we can figure this out, no prob. So I rationally asked if they could put one vanilla scoop for our 3-year old into one cup and put the chocolate scoop for our 10-year old in a different cup. Voila, they get the ice creams they want, and we pay for the full 2 scoops. The answer was that 's not our policy. So I asked for the manager. Surely, this can 't be the case. We want 6 different scoops of ice cream, so surely they can 't expect us to order 12 scoops (2 scoops of each flavor)? But the manager confirmed sorry, it 's our policy to not split scoops into different cups. So it was our son 's 8th birthday today. They knew that. He chose to go there. Not even that mattered to them, no exceptions are to be made. Either order double the ice cream that you want, or we can 't help you. So once we exited, I explained the situation to him. He said so they want Luna (his 3-year old sister) to eat two scoops of vanilla even though she only eats one? Yes. That 's ridiculous! he said. Even an 8 year old can see that. So off to one of the other local ice cream shops we went (there are many), where the shop employees were genuinely happy to celebrate our son 's birthday, and to hand each of our children one scoop of their favorite flavor ice creams."

"Food we got two fish dishes the Nordic cod and the sea bass. For me the veggies with both were a bit strong on the tomato flavor and a little too much undertone of heat in the sauce. I don't know if it was meant to be more winter menu but it felt a bit like home winter sabzi for those that know what that means. I feel like if the sauces had simmered more or something the flavors in them would be a bit tastier but the strong tomato with the fish didn't leave much fish goodness imo. Also the side salad was wayyyyy too acidic, like it just tasted like licking a lemon. We also got the hibiscus zero proof drinks and kinda similar, very sour. The oysters were good, with those I expect higher acid. I just really felt like the heat and acid on the food were high and it could've been more balanced especially on a summer menu. Service service was kinda slow, think there was only one server for the whole room so if you miss them once you kinda have to wait. Really took a while to get the orders in and get the food to the table. Ambience when we got seated initially it was downwind from the toilets (seats in front of the open kitchen area and somebody left the toilet door open. The smell was a bit hard to miss, we got reseated and it was much better after that. Overall ambience was good. Overall I think if the service were less slow the whole experience would've been better Was too hungry to photograph the fish by the time it came. The shrimp baos were yum!"

"I absolutely love coming to Mediterra. It's my favorite dinner restaurant in Princeton. The food is top notch, and the service is always extremely friendly and accommodating. Tonight we made a reservation for outdoor seating with a large group of 10 adults and 3 dogs. Normally you can make reservations on Open Table but a group this big required a phone call. They were more than happy to help us out and during dinner, even checked regularly to make sure the dogs had enough water. Nicholas, our server, was the best server I've had in a very long time in any restaurant. He was friendly, attentive, and very funny! He had some pretty good jokes and not the same old lame restaurant jokes. He had good recommendations for drinks and food alike. Very knowledgeable and still went above and beyond when our group ordered. We wanted a big dish of their paella to share family style, and still have separate entries. Nicholas recommended to get 2 servings of the paella for 2, instead of one giant dish in the middle of the table, to make it easier to share. When the food got sent out still in one giant dish, he personally helped to split it evenly into the two servings for each side of the table. He even made sure to plate the smaller servings well so it looked like it came out of the kitchen that way! He also had the kitchen evenly split the few entrees that our group decided to share between couples! I can't say enough nice things about Nicholas and how he made our night with a large group, feel special and like we were the only patrons dining that night, even though they were pretty busy. My recommendations: the papas bravas !!! , the raw oysters were delicious if you like them. The pastas are excellent, so is the pork loin and the steak, and absolutely get the paella!! It is their signature dish. My mom said it tasted better than the paella she ate when she visited Valencia, Spain last summer."
