"I was really looking forward to our visit at Bistro Jeanty but our experience is not one that will take us back there. The cocktails were good and my dinner was good but my husband's steak was brought out raw and it was so chewy that he didn't even end up finishing it. We would have sent it back but our server was never around. Our server was nice but wouldn't look at me, unless I was ordering, but only gave attention to my husband. All specials and other information was spoken directly to him, which was really awkward and uncomfortable for both of us. I get it if you aren't into ladies, but when in service all members of the party should be acknowledged. The other huge bummer was that the hostess had 2 of her friends come in, and seated them at the table next to us. The tables are all very close together, which is fine, until you have the hostess talking to her friends for most of your meal, and her butt is right where you are trying to eat. No one wants to look at a butt and listen to the hostess talk to her friends, instead of doing her job, when you are trying to enjoy a meal. In a town like Yountville we expect great service, and have never been let down until this visit to Bistro Jeanty. We will not be back and definitely do not recommend it."
