"When he came to take our order, his demeanor was rude, lacking any basic courtesies such as a greeting, a smile, or a simple "thank you." The food itself was good, but the service was disappointing. While we were eating, a family with children arrived, and they faced similar treatment. The waiter insisted they sit where he wanted, which was close to the kitchen for his convenience. The family seemed shocked by his aggressive behavior.
After finishing our meal, we lingered at our table for an hour waiting for our boat, but the waiter approached us and rudely insisted we leave the table if we weren’t ordering more food or drinks. We would have understood if the restaurant was full, but it was only half-empty. Frustrated, we chose to leave and go elsewhere.
I’m giving the restaurant two stars because the food was enjoyable. The truffle burger could use a stronger truffle flavor, and the vanilla milkshake needed a bit more vanilla extract, but the fries were fantastic, and the restroom was notably clean. I truly hope the owner considers making some changes, as I certainly won’t be returning if that waiter is still on staff."
