"Usually when I stay in Oslo, I am staying at a hotel that serves some sort of a breakfast buffet. This time I am not, so needed to find someplace to fill that need. (and I didn't want to just do a cafe run). A friend reccomended this place and it was a couple of blocks away from where I am staying so I gave it a shot (bonus was that it's open at 0730 M-F, so for someone jet lagged, it was a great way to kill some time early in the morning) Got in and got seated (breakfast restaurants aren't really a thing in Norway, so it was empty when I arrived). Ordered the fried Brussels sprouts as a snack and the eggs, bacon and hash browns as a main w/ locally made sourdough bread from a local bakery on the side. The food was all presented well and tasted great. The hash browns were less shredded potatoes as puréed, then fried. (still tasted fine) and the eggs were scrambled perfectly with the bacon crisped up and sprinkled on top with some sprouts. The bread came lightly oiled and fried (so no need for butter). The Brussels sprouted were roasted with some peppers and served on top of some aioli. Service was great, food was great and will come back at least one more time before I leave town. Yes, it's pretty expensive (this all ran me $35 converting from NOK to USD) but Norway in general has a high cost of living, so this is on par with any other sit down meal in a comparable restaurant."
