"Visited this place with friends and had a good time! The interior is great, and they have a beautiful outdoor terrace with music stage overlooking the river. You have an elaborate menu and all the foods my table ordered was quite good (minus of the poutins, which is quite pathetic and extremely over price). You are doing all kinds of fun events such as meat rugs and bingo and special breakfast."

All you need for a weekend of fun is here. Rock River between Rockford and Madison. Good food and drink. Lawn Games and a variety of rentals nearby. Great place for music.

Good bar food. This lively place serves good bar-type food. The burgers are delicious, the Steaks average and there are daily specialties. For a casual meal with an American menu, this place is more appropriate. The service is attentive. This is a very casual place that attracts boaters in summer and snowmobiles in winter. People seem to know each other and seem to have fun at the Anchor Inn.
