"My wife and I have visited this restaurant at least 5 times and I always forget to add pictures. This time, I didn't forget. Here's my review of this place. If you enjoy BBQ done right and also love whiskey (they have plenty of other delicious cocktails too), this place is a must-visit while in Kailua. From the moment we were greeted to the moment we received the check, all the staff members were so friendly. We had a great experience and I apologize for forgetting names easily. The worker with the recently short haircut (who donated her locks - good on you!) helped us with our order. We enjoyed the Angel's Envy whiskey, hibiscus infused tequila, spinach and artichoke dip, which was outstanding. The dip had the perfect texture, a hint of lemon on the bagel chips, and a cheesy, non-greasy flavor that was incredibly delicious. We also shared the Philly cheese special with tater tots, which brought back fond memories of middle school. Thank you for the wonderful experience! Aloha!"

"We always have a fantastic time at Goen! The restaurant has ample parking, a great ambiance, and the food is consistently outstanding. Both my husband and I have gluten sensitivity, but the servers are always knowledgeable and accommodating. We started with the spicy tuna roll, which was delicious. I had the Branzino, while my husband had the misoyaki butterfish, both of which were equally delicious. Overall, Goen never disappoints and we always have a great time there."

"Lunched here on a Sunday. Busy busy, so call in your reservation so you don't have to wait too long in line. Despite the demands of the customers, all of the wait staff was patient, friendly and helpful. Lots of smiles. Juliette waited on us. She was diligent in checking multiple times with the cooks about the ingredients to help me eat gluten , soy and dairy free . One of us had the fried chicken sandwich with salad, which came piled high with both a mildly sweet slaw and cilantro. He's a regular here and that's one of his favorite dishes. Another of us had the fried egg sourdough sandwich with the house made sausage and a mix of crispy regular potatoes and sweet potatoes. It is a knife and fork dish, and he loved every bite. I ate the Cobb salad, which was truly fresh and tasty, along with a side order of almond flour based gluten free bread. The cook toasted it separately from the regular bread, just as it should be to keep someone with celiac disease safe. We also ordered a side order of their kalua pork to try it. It was perfect: fork tender, juicy and satisfying. It's not easy to take care of special dietary needs at such a busy time for a restaurant. That the staff did so with such graciousness and seriousness is something special. We are full of thanks to Over Easy."

"This place is absolutely amazing. The food is excellent and honest with one of my favorite restaurants ever. I just wanted me to live in Hawaii! Every time I visit, I make it eat here once. You can't do anything wrong here. The hearty crepes and sweet crepes are both really good. The Mimosas are also great! I love this place! They also have nice outside eating. Overall, great place for good food!"

"We were thrilled to eat in this place because of the Rave reviews and eat Guy Fieri here. We ordered the two dishes on his show the Orange Duck Confit and Red Curry Fish. The dishes came out quickly and we soon realized that the curry we asked to be mild was extremely spicy and was at room temperature, while the rice was very warm. The duck seemed only slightly heated while the rice was also very warm. The juices (possibly sesame oil) of the Korean hover, which was bean sprouts, water cress and carrots, were sown in the main dish, which was a light orange sauce. Probably it would have been better to put the float on a separate court. Plantation iced tea did not seem that it was properly mixed with my first swallow was just the taste of tea. Service was great, but if you pay with a credit card, the servers have their personal credit card devices and they are basically just there and watch how much of a tip you leave for them."
