Atrium Restaurant and Guest House

We had dinner in this small but cosy restaurant. The menu is very interesting. With slow cooked meat and very tasty pasta and risotto. Service is friendly. Make sure you make reservations.

Visiting Stendal every now and then I was rather disappointed with culinary experience in total. Yes, until I visited this hidden gem. For reasons unknown, it escaped my queries, but that will not happen again. Fantastic food, a very creative yet uncomplicated menu, great preparation,...friendly staff and a nice, cosy beer-garden will make sure of that. Only after the dinner I found out that it was on TripAdvisor. I second that!

On a Saturday, my friend wanted to visit your son in Stendal. I should put the front panel of the dishwasher on the occasion, which was probably the real reason for the ride. As we let the breakfast fall out, it went over to lunch and your son led us to the city centre, where we found ourselves before the atrium and decided to try it out. I'm not so excited when it comes to French-minded environment. But here I was very pleasantly surprised. The courtyard is tastefully decorated and in beautiful weather it is definitely nice to drink a coffee here. The restaurant was not to be seen for us as such, because we ran past the entrance door.
