"Was very disappointed in my meal . I had the special $22 had a bowl full of Tough and burnt ribeye and chicken a chunk of cheese that was COLD .. My dinner came I think they forgot to put in the order 10 15 Minutes after my families .Service was poor . My sister has a dryed out chicken burrito. But the beans and rice were good ."

"We often drive through Minocqua. Yesterday my children and I went through and decided to stop for a snack. While I corralled my children, I accidentally left my wallet on the property. I didn't know until this morning and I called her right away. Fortunately, one of their honest employees had found the wallet and put it in the safe. I could drive right away to pick it up. Thanks for keeping my wallet safe and for the great service!"

"My dad and I went today for the last Fish Fry of the year. We each ordered the $12.95 fish fry (2 fairly large pieces of beer battered deep fried fish about 1.5 x1 x5.5 and ordered an extra piece for an extra $2. With included fries and a bowl of clam chowder I could barely finish it all. Dad couldn't even eat all of his. The fish was excellent. Cooked perfectly and very mild flavor. The fries were solid. The chowder had good flavor but consistency was really thick, more like homemade jam than soup, which was a little off putting but in the end the solid flavor won out for me. Service was excellent. Really friendly, fun, and polite waitress who checked in with us frequently. Food came quickly. Atmosphere was Northwoods perfect. Very casual. The interior is all knotty pine and rustic. We were seated in a booth in the back with a perfect view of the lake behind the restaurant. Got to watch a gorgeous sunset as an eagle flew by (not making that up while we waited for our food. It was November, but there is a patio out back with horseshoe pits for summertime. There is a bar but we didn't take advantage of it. Overall I really enjoyed my experience and it was a great value. $33 for 2 meals and a beverage, plus another meal from the 2 pieces we took home as leftovers. Note: the place is obviously a burger joint first and foremost and had like 15 different burgers on the menu. Parking: Decent sized gravel lot with 2 handicap spaces. We went early so there was plenty of parking available. Wheelchair accessibility: Front door approach has both steps and a ramp. "This was our first visit to Slo 's Pub and it was fun and delicious. Our bartender was efficient and friendly kudos. I had the daily special the JUMBO chicken wings served with several tasty sauces on the side (with plenty of napkins too), she had the Walleye sandwich and fries WOW the fish filet was the size of a canoe. Delicious lunch, overlooking Big Arbor Vitae, sipping a couple of Jack Cokes tough to beat in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. If you are in the Minocqua Woodruff area check out Slo 's , just off of Hwy 70 with a great lake view we enjoyed our visit, I bet you 'll love it too."
