"I live an hour away, but I had to make a trip to this restaurant. I was really looking forward to it, as I was quite hungry. This local BBQ spot has a soulful vibe, and I’m so glad I found it through Google. I ordered the pulled pork dinner, which came with two sides, broth, and a drink. The house BBQ sauce was fantastic on the pork. I couldn’t even take the cornbread and sweet tea home because they were that good! The tea was perfectly balanced in sweetness. I drove 25 minutes to get food, but unfortunately, it was a letdown. My partner ordered the ribs, which were chewy and undercooked. The baked beans tasted canned, while the potato salad was mushy. The green beans were overly bland. My cornbread was so crumbled that I couldn't even put butter on it. On a positive note, the chicken and rolls were very good. You never know until you try it, but overall, I was quite disappointed.
