"Their sandwiches are HUGE and super filling! Definitely large enough to share between 2 people. This is a great place to gather and get some drinks. All the food we ordered was great! The chips taste like your classic baked kettle chips. I highly recommend the Cheesesteak and Reuben. Our party also tried the Bixby BBQ Pork Sandwich, Chicken Banh Mi, and Buffalo wings. "eat them outside on the deck! it is beautiful, in the tree tips and has several outside heatings to take off the cold. I had added the fish tacos with fresh jalapeños! there is a small business also with ice cream, and some essential for buying."

"It was pretty busy and it was the last game of the Dodgers Giants series in the bar, but also so the service was good. And the food was phenomenal. The Worm had a pulled pork sandwich and I had a fish battle, and they were very good, but the French nachos were by far one of the best things I ever had, we both felt like that. The pommes were flat and somehow puffy and were perfect to all the delicious things that came with him, the pink onions were the most unforgettable. Excellent!"

"Found this restaurant via CBS Sunday Morning 9/1/24 episode.... and what a find! It's just south of Pfeiffer State Park on PCH, a most lovely drive from the north. Parking was easy, a bit of a wait (although less of a wait than we were told) Service 5 Star Food 5 Star ...and what a view! The menu is not long; we highly recommend Ambrosia burger, steak and bean salad ."

"We dined at Sur House on two consecutive nights during our anniversary stay at Ventana. On the first night, we ordered a bottle of Ridge Montebello Chardonnay at When the wine was brought to our table it was a bottle of Ridge Chardonnay retail). We were told the Montebello was out but this was the same at the same price. Knowing that was not the case, I told them to take it back. Moments later they brought out the Montebello Chardonnay that they supposedly were out of. The manager lurked in the background and wouldn't talk to us. This was clearly an attempt at fraud bait and switch. We shouldn't have gone back the second night, but we were tired and decided it was a one time thing. We both ordered their most expensive dish, a rib eye special. When our main was served it clearly was not a ribeye, but a sirloin. We pointed this out and they took it back to the kitchen and then brought it back and said the ribeye was out. A second bait and switch. This place is dramatically overpriced in every way with questionable quality and clearly looking to rip off their customers. Do not go here! Repeat, do not go here!"
