the homemade shaschlik is a dream! eating is clearly above the one normal pommesbude and surpasses some restaurant. the service is perfect and the customer is still king here.

"When I discovered the mango at the Kalka marketplace a year ago, I immediately knew: here I would like to eat for dinner. The whole ensemble around the market is beautiful and tastefully renovated, refurbished and refurbished. Especially in the evening you sit here atmosphericly and comfortably, especially if some places are still nicely illuminated. parking is possible in the middle of the market square on a public market square; walking to the individual locals in this area is relatively laborious, however, because the place is designed with a pavement that still seems to originate from the Roman period, which is hot: people with restrictions or just bad shoes or high heels have bad cards here. It's more like you're fluctuating. During our visit yesterday we were still relatively early (about 18:30), but it was relatively difficult to find a free space outside. We chose a rattan sofa with tables and chairs, but had to change after a quarter of an hour: a lamp next to us flowed a penetrant, unpleasant petroleum smell, which was unfortunately not tolerable. And: despite winks and pitches, we were simply not respected by the service. Speaking of service: the lady was supernett, totally friendly, exhaustive, stress-resistant, flashable and resilient. Chapeau! She supervised an area in which 2-3 operations are used. Nevertheless, the long wait was partly energizing for us as guests. The map of the Mango is slightly oriented Austrian-Alpinian, but it also offers international and Mediterranean cuisine. Everything very fresh and creative. From soups to salads to attractive meat and fish dishes, as well as pasta is something for every taste. Various coffee specialities, several wine and beer varieties. Typical Austrian flour dishes are also served, such as Wiener Topfenstrudel or Marillenknödel or Kaiserschmarren. Delicious, though too sweet for me personally. We were third and finally chose a creamy coconut curry soup (both in the belly, saturating but not burdening) for cheap 6.50 euros, the Linguine Alfredo for 10.50 euros (a large plate of spaghetti with a mixture of pawlings, bacon and other non-referential components), and a Mediterranean salad plate for 16.50 euros). On a fresh salad bed with leaf salads, tomato slices, cucumbers etc., several slices of mozzarella and various octopes of fine fish such as salmon and tuna sprang. Something surprising for me: some fish pieces were covered with bacon. Is this so Usus in the region? Or rather the handwriting of the house? Why don't you shoot me a little strange? Two generous slices of baguette were served for salad and coconut soup. A foot-line of the menu indicates that in case of allergies, you should respond with the service power. I did this in my case and asked my actually selected court to strike a single ingredient that I am very allergic to. Despite longer discussions, this was not granted to me because it is here, the court does not taste so. I've been arguing all the gunmen... but it was in vain... I still find that regrettable. So I had to swing around and then was very well served with the great salad with noble fish, even though it was a little bit too, because not taken seriously.... On a Friday night at lukewarm temperatures, several groups had to go again because no table was free. There seem to be many regular guests here, many Bussi bussi communities, most of them know each other. Even Dutch people seem to like to come to Kalkar. Several locals here on the market all seem to belong to the same owner. When I wanted to pay with card, the credit card machine had to be picked up from the neighboring local. Cleanliness is great here, despite the stress, the operation as the very first wiped our table clean. Also cutlery and dishes were impeccable. The same can be said of the well-maintained toilets. Except for the inestimable discussion about an incompatible ingredient, we felt very comfortable in the mango."
