"Ordered the trip through Vietnamese and Japanese cuisine for euro. What an utter disappointment. For being the best rated restaurant in the area, it doesn’t deliver. Could be I had a bad experience, but I mean, come on. The food was mediocre at best,...I didn’t get blown away at any point, at least not in a good way. The six dishes in this menu wasn’t filling at all. I went out afterwards and got a currywürst to get properly filled up and it cost me like of the menu, and frankly, tasted much better. Service wasn’t jaw dropping either"

"While this restaurant is very similar to all others in Wernigerode with their offers of food and drink, it is characterized by additional dishes of fish, fowl and other meats that offer a varied choice. The food is well cooked, tasty and the accompanying side salads dressed in a slightly sweet acid dressing that is a perfect fit for the fried elements of the dish. We both cleared our plates, and the final costs were a little less than 2 other restaurants we had. The menu also had English translations, thanks to Capitol, which really helps. Service was pleasant. We had to pay in cash, this seems more common in Germany than expected. I barely use cash in the UK today."

"our hostes brought us to their favorite restaurant, but they were also a bit embarrassed by the haphazard service, despite the friendliness of the staff. we were served in the first place (bruschetta, antipasto) but without single plates. When they came to question, we had to. search for food from utensilien. once at these views we enjoyed some delicious Italian dishes (minestrone, pasta and fish dishes.) this is a popular restaurant so that reservations are recommended."

"We went to La Collina twice. The waiter recognized us on the second evening (although the place was full) and offered us the same table. The pizza on the first evening was a welcome change in a week of typical German foods; the pasta on the second evening was huge (a bit more spicy would have been welcome). There are not many Italian restaurants in Wernigerode, so you can choose these, do not hesitate: you will not be disappointed."

"We had high hopes for this restaurant given the reviews. The menu had a few vegetarian choices, I chose pumpkin soup and pumpkin ravioli. The soup was really lacking in flavour, it was incredibly bland which was disappointing as it looked great. The ravioli filling was delicious but the pasta (where knotted) wasn't cooked as it was so thick something i didn't expect given the caliber of this restaurant. The wine was vastly overpriced but that goes with the territory. Whilst our male server was pleasant he did forget to serve the wine to everyone on the table again something i don't expect. We also complained that we were cold and the door was closed, but then it was re opened as afire door. We didn't get any explanation or apology, which again was disappointing but maybe my standards are too high! Overall enjoyable but for the price i expect more."
