"My children and I are trying new restaurants and this one is close to my son?s barbershop. I was excited to try a black owned barbecue spot, so we stopped in! My son and I had pulled pork platters. I had Mac and cheese and collards and he had Mac and cheese and fried okra. My daughter got buffalo dipped wings and fries. I also ordered the small hush puppies. Her meal came with tea, but the sweet cashier allowed my son and me to get a drink too because she knew the wait would be long. My order was placed at 7:22 and we didn?t get our food until 8PM. The first time in the south and I have to say that was one of my favorite restaurants. Real authentic South BBq. It's a must! Loved the food, service and staff.

I?m glad I dropped by for lunch on a whim today! Customer service was great, and the food was great as well. I had the pulled pork sandwich with potato salad, both very tasty, I love the bbq sauce. Big portion for the potato salad as well so I took half of it home! Then I got a slice of cheesecake and chocolate cake to go. Both desserts are delicious. I will certainly return to try some other items I saw on the menu!

Very happy with my experience order lunch here for pickup! Magnificent customer service from the time I called in my order. They sacked the food before me and showed exactly what I ordered with extra sauce for my wings, which were so good! Spicy BBQ is a good option for sweet savory, the hot sauce is also great. The Yams Mac and Cheese? The employees on 6/15/22 were amazing! I also love that it is local/family owned by a Vietnam vet. The first time here and back!
