"Maybe I should have made a few more visits to Bottega Louie, but with the suggestion of some friends I knew I had to visit this place. The room takes a first floor on a corner in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. If you are going to notice why BL is the hottest restaurant in downtown LA. Great place... great service, feels comfortable, but it's very on earth... great food, also with such a large space to get around... big marketplace!

This restaurant is overrated and pricey. We ordered truffle pizza and louie salad. The truffle pizza was cold, dry and no flavor. The Louie salad has too much dressing and was not fresh. I expected higher than this when considering their price. I will not go there again. What a pricey experience..

Atmosphere: stylish looking, but unexpectedly loud for a nice restaurant. Service: top notch. We asked them to overthrow the food as we had to visit a whisky tasting and the food came within 5 minutes. It was impressive. Food: very good. The Burra Pizza was the best part. For a unique appetizer try the portobello Fritten. Good Macarons, too. Overall: If it was not so loud, it would be perfect, but nevertheless an excellent experience.
