"My husband and I went here for dinner on Saturday (5/19). The restaurant was fairly empty but we did arrive for an early dinner, at 4:30, since we were going to see a movie afterward. Husband ordered the cheese burger and fries and I had the pork pasta. Ok, whoever came up with the pork pasta recipe is a GENIUS! I LOVED this dish. So flavorful! If I had to give it a critique, I would say to jack the spice, in the sauce, a little bit but that's only because I'm a spicy food fanatic. The portion was perfect, too. Not too much, not too little. I don't like restaurants that serve you a meal that is so large that it's intimidating. My husband enjoyed his meal, as well. We also ordered a dessert...

Of the four items ordered, two were barley tepid and had to be sent back. The food was all delicious but it was quite expensive considering the lack of getting food to the table while it was still hot.

I love this place. I first found out about the restaurant from a Facebook friend share. I then started watching the Marty Makes videos and when my cousin visited from Texas, she too, became a Marty Makes fan) a visit for dinner was on the top of her list. This is a gorgeous setting and the drive down Chuckanut Dr. from Bellingham was gorgeous! The service was amazing. We sat at the counter and the chef’s were gracious and professional in making conversation with us. My Texas friend commented on their “southern hospitality.” We had the fried pickles, AMAZING!
