we like to go in the brewery to eat the key or just stay for two to three old. with good weather it is nice to sit on the places on the bolker road and you can watch the tribes there in all the rest. but even if it is rainy or cold you can sit well in the big interiors and enjoy the good eating. inside it can unfortunately happen that all places are occupied. therefore it is of advantage before a visit to call briefly and to reserve a place.

as every year we were kanevals Saturday of 12 watches in the key. we were served very nice and competent from the 1st waiter (we can call him udo) after a waiter change and a payment of the bill of 186€ came the 2nd waiter (we can call him Christoph/f) he put us ne round beer on the table. an institution in Düsseldorf... amidst the Alstadt... dubiously, as always loud open, friendly and communicative people stand at the standisch in front of the local and drink their ALT beer. even inside almost always all tables full. on the original wooden tables is quickly served, in front of all the old beer. but the kitchen is great. besides the mandatory mett and cheese rolls or better tortoise is especially the Rhineian sour roast sensational.
