"Since it is lsited here on HC I was expecting more. There were no choices on the menu so I asked the waitress. Vegan? Uhm. No. French Fries mabye Luckily it was possible to omit the cheese on eggplant with potato and tomato sauce. 9.80) It was really good but greasy. Veery greasy. Another big con is the big-portioned bolonaise they serve for 1.80. I love the idea of the cheap student cafe and the place is really neat overall. But I can only imagine where this meat must be from..."

I like the Brenessel because it is good food, and beautiful beers, incredibly cheap. Although they serve meat and do not have a lot of vegan options, which is a pity.

For dinner with friends. It was very busy and loud when we went, but the food and the experience was good overall. Not too many vegan options on the menu, but they were ready to adapt and customize my order. Reliable and good service.
