"I have been a customer at Brent's for almost my entire life. I first discovered them when I lived in the valley near Northridge. I have dined at Brent's Westlake a few times, and it has always been decent, but not outstanding. The corned beef and cabbage was incredibly tender and lean. The potatoes and cabbage were cooked to perfection. The portion size was very generous.

Ordered the open face turkey sandwich. Perfect in every way. Tons of perfectly cooked fresh turkey, delicious gravy and sides. Mashed potatoes were creamy and fresh. highly recommend.

I have been a fan of Brent's since they first opened. I used to rave about how their Chinese chicken salad surpassed that of Cheesecake Factory, which used to be the standard but now has very little chicken and other ingredients, mostly lettuce. However, at Brent's, the salad comes completely dry or with such a small amount of dressing that I often have to add my own. I typically order a side of their special salad dressing, which only costs .05 and really enhances the flavor of the salad. I suggest they either include it with the salad or dress it more generously so it doesn't taste so plain.
