As we were being led to our table by the one waitress/hostess, an elderly woman came barrelling up to us saying that the couple who had entered after us needed to be seated. After an aggressive exchange of words from this woman, our waitress apologised for her and sat us at our table. Best Chinese food I've ever had in LA, been here 7 years. The location is very nice, it's in the bottom of the Millennium Biltmore hotel right across from Pershing square. We had the Orange chicken and Kung Pao Chicken, every piece was juicy and fresh, and the sauce was the best I have ever tasted. Service was great and we look forward to going back!

Till this Friday it used to be my favorite places to visit. This time the lady with the specs (who was in charge of sitting everyone) said there is nothing Vegetarian available at the restaurant (which was not true). She just kept coming up with excuses so that we would leave. Thoroughly unpleasant experience and I hate to say but I would not want to revisit one of my favorite places.

the host is rude that our open table reservation did not play a role and we had to wait 35 minutes for a table. wonderfully after 10 minutes, a table was cleaned and we sat for 10 minutes and our dinner order was taken. the dumplings, kong pao garnelen and Mongolian bark was good. our watery Singapore claws arrived with the food. my sohn ordered cheesecake was told 19 minutes later, there was no one, then waited 15 minutes for a bowl of ice. we will never return.
