"Very good food, just very warm!. Had lunch here on a Saturday with two friends. Had wonderful.raspberry pancakes and maple cured bacon. Both excellent. My companions both enjoyed their food, sandwiches and,salads. It's a funky quirky atmosphere which was appealing. The prices were good, and although it was order at the register and they bring it to you, the service was good. The only real objection, was that it is a below ground place, full of people, and with an exposed kitchen, and one little air conditioner struggling away. It was 76 outside, probably 85 inside. Very uncomfortable."

"Never knowing what you might run into, we really appreciated this find! First, the staff was busting their butts and that in and of itself was impressive. I don’t think they were expecting the rush and they handled it flawlessly. The beer was really good and the flash-fried cauliflower in a local honey glaze was outstanding. Take a bit to go out of your way and stop here!! Seriously!!"

"Awesome food, great ambiance! My husband and I frequent Salt Pine for our date nights, and it is a must when we have guests from out of town. The food is creative and well executed. Great flavor combinations, quality ingredients and good portion size I never leave feeling hungry! This is one of the few places we've found that make good cocktails. Well balanced, inventive and a broad selection for all tastes. We have had nothing but great service. Busy or empty, the servers give us the time and attention we need to have an enjoyable meal and the space to have our date night."

"Stopped after the trip to the beach; had seen the restaurant a few days earlier, but decided for Thai then. I'm glad we tried! We both had a brisket on the homemade corn bread and it was perfect! Meat delicate and plentiful, corn cake added some sweet contrast. Sauce was excellent and they served extra on the table. Also got a page of fries that were crispy and well seasoned. To round it off, we shared a slice of lime cake, one of our favorite desserts. Not disappointed! generous portion; Butter crust and tar filling, with a beautiful slip of whipped cream. Very recommended."
