"we are Michelin Starfighters! we experienced a lot of what san francisco had to offer and had three michelin restaurants in three days. without hesitation, californios was the best of the three we have experienced. the personal, eating and the environment are exactly what they should get with a michelin restaurant. we didn't feel rushed and they even allowed us to go to the kitchen and talked to the cook. it's an experience. such a great atmosphere in the inner, friendly staff, surprisingly fill for a Michelin tasting menu. the food was naturally nicely garnished and creatiw. we had a great time. (so many aromen! there was a banana/caramel/cavia bowl that sounds strange, but was actually a tasty bite

magical experience! we came to californios to celebrate a birthday and had the best time! the mood is delicate, but not stuffy, they give the sufficient amount of distance between the tables to the location, social distance, relax and enjoy a private meal. the meal itself is seasonal and beautiful and the whole experience feels just high-end still pleasant. we would like to take home pint the wonderful salsa verde (which we could not get enough of the duck, the lobster or the otopus and could and could. wonderful experience! we will be absolutely back!
