"Delicious!!! We sat inside but the porch area is very nice also. I highly recommend the roast beef sandwich, brisket with onions and the pulled pork was so good too but it does have a kick. We did make a reservation for a party of 6 however they were not very busy. Huge bar selection."

"Such a beautiful place! We made phone reservations about a half hour before, and we got seated right away! I ordered a blackberry lavender lemonade off the special drinks menu and it was delicious. They gave us bread immediately, and took our orders, me and my fiancé ordered penne alla vodka with grilled chicken and a Caesar salad. the dressing tasted homemade and was incredibly tasty, and the penne, oh the penne!!! the vodka sauce was so good we asked if they sold it by jar! they gave us such large plates, and i took home a whole second meal, my fiancé managed to eat most of his lol. All in All, i didn’t have a single bad experience or even mediocre bite in this place. Absolute perfection."

"I have always loved the view from up here long before this place was here. It's perfect to sit outside in the sun with a glass (or several) of some seriously delicious ciders! "Food drinks: This hotel is really cool and brings you back to an old time western saloon, hence the name. Our group only went to the bar for drinks ,so I can’t comment on the food, but unfortunately the bartender was serisouly bad. We ordered a couple vodka sodas ,nothing crazy, and then asked to play pool. The bar keep responded with rates and we agreed to the fare. Then we proceeded to stand there awkwardly waiting for the balls for another 30 minutes until eventually deciding to cash out. This person was completely oblivious to our demands and others at the bar. Other guests sitting at tables outside were coming in and canceling their orders because of the long wait. I’m not overly harsh on service, but this encounter was too much to ignore. Service: 1 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Romantic"

"Went there tonight for the 1st time, I started with the bone marrow appetizer. The buttered bread was delicious and the 2 bones were on the small side but very tasty, there was a little to much salad for my taste but I would definitely recommend it. I then had the shrimp Po boy, to my surprise it came as an open faced sandwich on a roll that was more fit for a small lobster roll, which is also on the menu. The thing about a true Po boy really is about the fresh baguette, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Granted in our little town of Callicoon it would be difficult to get such a delicacy but they could have tried a little harder. So because the roll was to small you couldn't make a real sandwich without having to perform surgery on the components that were provided. After cutting up the extremely large but tasty tomato and trying to fold the rest of the ingredients into the very small roll I had a mess but it was tasty. We also had the steak, which was cooked perfectly and had a lot of flavor and a side of the Mac and cheese which was also good. Unfortunately like everywhere they were short staffed and the 2 waitresses we're hustling the best that they could but the place has a bar and no bartender so that made for the already over taxed staff even more stressed. If I could give a half star this review would be a 3.5 because the food was tasty and the staff really friendly. The prices were a little high but I will go back."
