"I came in town to spend some time with family. My cousin wanted to go here for vegan options. The place was empty except for 1 couple. One of the table tops were broken but it still was on the floor. The lady that took our orders was extremely rude, very short and talked to us with an attitude.She seemed racist as well because she was extremely nice and helpful to the Indian customers who came in after us! For us to dine in, we had to make our order online because the online prices were way cheaper than in person!! This was strange to me to say the least! So my husband and I had a very lovely date at this very unique pizza spot- we love Indian food but we were in the mood for pizza and BOOM this was the exact place to Blow Our Mind!! Thank you for the kind service from the owner who walked us through the menu, the flavors were so diverse and delicious and we had a great evening together sitting at one of their booths. I am vegan and was super impressed with how many pizza options I had -Thank y’all for that #VeganLifeVegetarian options: Great Vegan Options

I was glad the pizza was better than the service, my goodness! Walked in and you would have thought a ghost walked in. The lady at the bar taking phone orders ran off to the back. I was there 8 to 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged or asked if was picking up an order. Old place that could use some upgrades, cleaning and better bar choices. I couldn't even get a drink while waiting. Pizza is. Ot the Chicago style your thinking bit it was okay. I won't be going back. I like good food and good customer service

The place looks very neglected and the service was dismal. They have a soda fountain machine that looks like it's been out of order for months. They have several broken TVs and an out of order urinal that also looks like it's been broken for a while. While they seem to have a full bar, it seems that the staff wouldn't know what to do with it; the bar also looks devastatingly plain. There's no ambiance.The server/cashier placed the pizza on my table as I grabbed a drink from the very limited choices from one of the fridge displays. I saw the server sit at the far booth with another staff member and never saw her until I was ready to leave. I had to walk over and ask for a to-go box.I ordered...

"The food was consistently good, but there were a few issues. There weren't enough straws for the number of drinks, and the coffees, although they had different flavors, weren't labeled, so we had to guess which one was which. Several sauces we had ordered were missing, and there was only one napkin provided. While the service was quick, I would prefer if they took a bit more time to ensure everything was packed correctly rather than rushing it out."

"This was our first visit and it most certainly won’t be our last. They are definitely 5 star worthy but I will explain why they got 4 from our experience. Let’s start at the beginning with our appetizers. Calamari is always a must. I just love the little tentacles and they served a bunch of them. I was thrilled because most of the time, you only get a few but this was a generous portion with lots of little arms. The second appetizer was the grilled octopus. This is where they lost a few points because the $17 tentacle over white beans was pretty tiny. It was tender and nicely cooked so we didn’t complain. For the mains, I got the bone in veal Parmesan and hubs got braised beef ravioli with a meatball added. My goodness, the veal was super tasty. The red sauce was very balanced. The meatball, Mmmm Mmmm. His ravioli was very good but I liked mine better. Served with fresh, hot bread and a spring mix salad. We were very pleased and we look forward to our next visit. The service was friendly and the foods were presented at their appropriate times. Just an all around great experience."

"What a delight! I lived in Richmond for over 30 years and have never tried Azzurro. The ambience, the food, the service were all outstanding. We were seated at a lovely table by a lovely maître d’, who is extremely charming, and set the tone for the evening. Perfect cocktails, followed by a beet salad for me and shrimp gazpacho for others at our table. They all loved it. As for dinner, I enjoyed the Pollo Palermo and the halibut piccata special for my other half. Both dishes were so unique. In my opinion very clean Italian. The quality of a halibut was outstanding. In my opinion, all the food was spot on. Our server was absolutely delightful. She read our table beautifully, and I commend her for her professionalism and talent for making a perfect evening even more perfect. for others at our table. They all loved it. As for dinner at Azzurro- go in, expecting a charming environment with a charming staff, genteel vibe, and overall pleasant experience."

"from the outside it seems to be a very small place, but its only one. it is really great place they would think if they are in a restaurant and not a bar with so much concrete on beer everywhere they see, wall, painting serviettes, glasses etc. it has a great choice in the menu and also for vegetarian as me. that is impressive just a preview, they take orders a little too fast, so make sure their adjustment is well noticed all at a great place!"

"Ended up at this place by accident. My car was in the shop for repairs when the city shut the place down for a gas leak. Needed somewhere to spend a few hours. Glad I did! For the longest time I didn't even know this place was a Pub, but then you would not think it was given its unassuming strip small location. Walking in you are instantly transported out of Suburbia and into a very nicely furnished wood paneled bar and dining area. Staff were very attentive and polite, and happy hour goes from open to dinner time. Yay! I went basic and ordered the burger, and it was so good I had to take a picture. Excellent presentation, right amount of meat to bun and topping ratio, and the bun was delicious. All the little things that set great burgers apart from something you expect to find at a fast food joint. Even better, the fries were also delicious and not your generic frozen crinkled you would usually expect. Considering how busy the place was for lunch I can only conclude the other items were just as popular. Everyone around me seemed to have ordered a good mix, and the place was packed on a Thursday afternoon. Excellent establishment, with a keen attention for detail. It's the little things that set places apart. Even more tempting had it not been so early was their massive selection of whiskey. They have alot, and the discerning eye noticed a couple bottles that are hard to find. The owner of this establishment is clearly a man of culture and taste. My one minor gripe was that the music volume was a tad too loud for a Thursday afternoon lunch, but that is a gimme and probably a result of a staffer fat fingerings the button. 5 stars!"
