"We lived in Zachary in walking distance from Asian Pearl and loved to eat here. Now we drive from Denham Springs to Zachary to eat here. The service is great and the owner is very friendly and visited with you. Somehow he waits for everyone here and gets everything right. They are usually not busy, but sometimes they are and everyone is happy. Things go very smooth. The food is also excellent. All in the menu. Try this place and you will not be disappointed!"

"Let me start by saying i 'm a nice person. I give reviews when reviews are deserved. This particular restaurant deserves every syllable of my review. Today I decided I wanted a Gyro Sandwich. Since I live in Zachary, La I decided to eat here. When I called to place my order the person who took my order paused for a long time when I asked her if I could have fries with my Gyro. She said, sorry I was writing down your name . Because we all know how difficult it is to write down the name Sam . During this short conversation, I had to ask her twice, are you there? Once I placed my order, She simply hung up. No goodbye, no thank you. When I came to pick up my order, She told me I 'd have to wait for change for a $20. I waited 3 minutes. When she came back , she handed me five 1 dollar bills. I was pretty sure I heard her say it was $14.46. I asked her how much it was again and she told me it was 14 dollars and something cents . I was dumbfounded. I didn 't say keep the change, I didn 't tip her that 's for sure but she kept the change. Over fifty cents that I didn 't get back. I couldn 't do anything to walk out I was so shocked. And here 's the part where i 'm going to sound mean: I don 't know if these person(s) were rude or illiterate but this was the worst customer service i 've ever received at any restaurant. I doubt very seriously if they 'll care but I won 't be going back."

"Cafe Phoenicia's food is always consistently good. Their Chicken Shwarma, Kibbe, Pasta Phoenicia, Meat Mousaka- all very tasty. The salad and hummus is amazing. We dined in for a change and the service was ok. We kind of felt rushed, but maybe it was just a feeling we had. The waitress was nice, almost too nice, and at times I thought she may pull up a chair and eat with us. Lol. Overall great time. Glad Zachary has this staple restaurant in town."

"Best Hispanic cuisine around. Service is always fast and friendly. The drinks are fantastic. Food always comes out smoking hot. The only negative I can think of is I don't get to go enough. Love the food and they do birthdays right."
