"Food was excellent. Service was spectacular. Was able to sit where we wanted to. Got steaks and they were cooked exactly like we ordered. Size was big enough to make 2 meals for me. We had enough to take home. My roommate started his leftovers when he got home. Fox Creek has always been one of my favorites and still continues to be. Service: Dine in"

"Best of the Best! Fred's is one of Batesville's best and I think the oldest restaurant, my knowledge, is still exactly the way it was. Probably the best fried catfish in the state and possibly in the south. The Hushpuppies, Slav, pickled green tomatoes and pint beans are also remarkable. Fred's is the perfect place for a delicious South Family Dinner, east of Batesville past Walmart it is worth the trip to the city!"

"Words can simply not describe how wonderful this place is. The food was top notch, best steak I ever had, server was very friendly and also very knowledge about the food. I will definitely be a regular one in this place that I honestly did not want to go!! The best place in Batesville, maybe even throughout the state. I use being always disappointed because my high expectations, like restaurants should be, this place has thrown me away."

"Normally this is very good. Perhaps it was the time of day, 415pm, but the seaweed on the sushi I couldn't chew. It needed to be soaked longer. The gyoza was dry on the edges and very greasy. The cheesecake had been microwaved to thaw it out. The wide end was ice cold and the skinny end was melting. Overall, this was a poor experience. Hopefully this will be better next time we go. I do want to note that the service was very good. Service: Dine in"

"I had lunch here recently with an old high school friend and her traveling companion. I forgot what they had but they both liked their meals. I had the Ranchero special along with a beef taco on the side. Everything was pretty tasty but I will say the service was just ok, like they need a little more pep in their step."
