"You have to know where they are to get there, but the food is worth the effort. The springrolls were „slouchy“, they should be crispy. The sauces of the dishes were average, but the meat was definitely not fresh. In my opinion, it’s not authentic chinese food. But I need to add that the waitresses were nice! Still, I‘m sorry, but I‘m not going to eat there again.

Went there for take aways after reading on a forum that the restaurant was amongst a few in Basel to have an authentic Chinese/Asian taste/cuisine (Asian food is generally really bad in Switzerland, not much flavours). Ordered a few dishes and it turned out that everything was the same. As in cooked in the same basic random stir fry. It wasn’t even what we ordered. Beef Szechuan turned out to be beef with soja sauce and chicken satay was not satay (some red sauce but no peanut taste), just a rather dull taste. I’ve no idea how authentic the food is, but one great thing, was that all the dishes we ordered tasted completely different and were delicious! (I’ve been to many a Chinese restaurant where the sauces taste practically all the same and are doused in monosodium glutamate not here! It’s also a rather small but amicable family run joint, so it needs our support! The Wantan I started with, were the best I have ever had the pastry crispy but almost melt in your mouth and the filling generous and exquisite! I ate the “Cantonese Crispy Duck”.
