"Chuchok is a character in one of Buddha reincarnation stories. He was a mean old man who ate too much that his stomach exploded. It?s refreshing to hear such a creative and cultural name for a Thai restaurant in the USA. It also means that there must be at least one Thai in the establishing team. And that means we are going to have some real Thai food. (More or less ? We went there around 1PM on Wednesday, it was kind of calm. (It has been open recently maybe not many people know yet. Our lunch : Papaya salad : I asked them to add 2 chillis up in the salad to get as close as we eat in Thailand possible and I got it. (Not recommended for Non-Thai There was an ingredients they cut off which w...

Shameless Cross Posting by yelp: FINALLY! Good. Thai food in the area! I hope they will expand their hours if they become more established? this place is a jewel. Thank you for labeling gluten-free options, as well as, and let me know when I asked (by my habit) to make sure that my order was GF that the tofu was fried in a common fryer. I made my life as a celiac much easier.

Nice little eatery: There is limited sitting area inside (8 people) and a table outside. The house where the restaurant is pretty. The menu is simple but quite thorough. The Phad Se Yew Gai (Large sauted flat noodles in a dark sauce with chicken) is really tasty with fresh ingredients and the rea taste of the work. The sticky rice with mango and coconut sweet milk is good too. You can also order food to go if you want so.

Honestly, I was really looking forward to trying this place for the longest time as I've been on the hunt for a proper Thai place in the area. I came out a bit disappointed by the experience. Drunken noodles is my go to dish and how I gauge a thai restaurant. While the flavor was present I was quite disappointed that they didn't use broad flat rice noodles and instead opted for what looks like pad Thai style noodles. The other issue that I had was that the dish was very dry. Most, if not all drunken noodles I've had in the past are a bit more on the saucy side. What I received was nothing like the pictures on their website which I attached below. What saved this place from getting less stars...

"this was the second time that we at blue hill at stone barns had eaten (the first was about a year ago) our second visit was not so funny, because we first knew that the routine was brought out a dish in a time, an excursion to somewhere else (kitchen, special room with compost part away through the meal. but also, it was disappointing to see some of the same things on the menu as we did last time. yes, it was the almost the same time of the year, but surely a restaurant of this caliber can be more creative and sometimes they were something too creatiw at this visit. we were served a melon that had been fermented. with the first (and last bite, I said to my man, that tastes just like cow manure smell. Now, when we were picked into the compost room for our half of a baby potato, we saw where the fermentation had taken place: in a bag placed in the compost container. ew, that explains, I thought. I also know that you eat seasonal at stone barns, but the menu was very, very hard on beds, squash and parsnips. while the peasant from this world was (please sell to the public in quantity! and the beet sliders were so big that we could have eaten ten more, it was a bit much to have so many sweet sweet sweet sweet at a meeting, especially if you lean on the savory like me. While I would recommend bh at sb one time, I don't think it's worth visiting later, especially if they go near the same season they go ahead. two more observations: 1. the personal is very wonderful. 2.I wouldn't interfere with the deli for lunch. eating is nothing special. also we have a bag of popcorn and it was stale as possible."
