"Claws is an institution that you can not miss. As a local to the Midcoast I look forward to when they open for the season and get pretty bummed when it?s the last week and it?s convenient location makes it hard not to stop on a more regular basis whenever I?m driving by. The views are outstanding and it?s an excellent place to wait for the ferry to Vinalhaven or North Haven because you can see the ferry enter the harbor just past the breakwater/lighthouse. The food was great. The best coleslaw in Maine. The blueberry biscuit is unique. They serve the corn boiled in the husk. Overall makes it all quite memorable. I ordered my lobster lazy style did not regret it.

Really great place! Great view and friendly staff. The prices were quite reasonable for seafood. Very recommended to check this place if you? back from the beaten path. The lobster dinner at $36 comes with a ton including steamer corn, biscuit and more. Also recommend the fish tacos.

Fortunately, we drove past this place and saw that the restaurant was pretty busy so we stopped for lunch. The service was pretty fast even though they were busy. The food was served hot fresh and it was delicious. The portions of the fish were sufficient for 2 persons. The corn was hot and sweet. Overall experience was excellent and will return.
