"Lovely place for tea for a special occasion. More fun than traditional high teas in Chicago with better, more substantial food included. Delicious chef selections! The boozy teas were pretty good, some more than others (our table of 4 sampled 4 different options). They made my aunt's birthday special with a glass of rose with a candle, which was adorable. Our server was lovely and the ambiance was very chic. Price point of $45 for a large (arguably 2) cocktail and approximately 4 savory and 4 sweet bites per person is more reasonable than other locations, too. Overall, lovely experience."

I came here from a recommendation because it was supposed to be Alice in Wonderland-esque and it just didn't deliver. The food was good, but only had 4 boozy tea selections and 1 one of them was out. Apparently they don't make it custom its all pre-made. Wouldn't really go back.

Commons Club in the Virgin Hotel is one of those cool, eclectic places that you can have a real experience at. The Upside Down Tea (or boozy tea as me and my peeps call it) is outstanding!!! The champagne teas are so good and the tea bites are not your regular tea bites. No cucumber sandwiches on this tea menu. I had the most flavorful pork belly ever and let's not even get started on the biscuit with jam and cream. Sooo good!!!!
