"This is a lovely, tiny restaurant serving up tasty lunches including classics like Reuben to more unique offerings like their OMG Lamb Sandwich. On weekdays, Community is only open during lunch hours, unfortunately, but all of their sandwiches are fairly priced around $10-12 considering the quality of the local products they use. They are known for their cakes and deserts and on weekends they serve special dinners, neither of which I have tried yet. Staying true to the name, the staff at Community really do make you feel comfortable and welcome, asking about your day and speaking genuinely in ways that are often not found at other restaurants."

Staff is always welcoming and even remembered our names. Food is fresh and tasty though the menu is small. Pleasant atmosphere. One of our favorites in the neighborhood.

I'm not sure why I hadn't heard of this place until I was sniffing around for sandwiches in the area, but I'm glad I found it! The fried chicken sandwich seems to be the item here, and it's indeed good, but it didn't cause me to roll my eyes into the back of my head with delight the way that absolutely delectable McDowell sandwich did. Wow... Also, ignore whoever says to get the spicy potato wedges. They're merely potatoes with chili paste glooped on top. Maybe ok at a dive bar or with a burrito or something, but not for a place like this.
