"I'll be right after opening and glad we made it because it's filled out quickly. No feet diner style breakfast. Unique menu options (above was the 'Just for Fun', which is a traditional egg sandwich, but with a cinnamon roll for the bungalow! And downstairs was the 'Tent Warner' Omelette. For a 5 miles long hike we slept full on this day. The prices were very reasonable. A must go if you need a breakfast place."

"My review is in good company like others, I am also so grateful for Harbor House Grille providing a safe place to enjoy a beautiful dinner. This may have been my last dining experience of 2020, honestly (as my due date approaches)... Glad I'm going out on a good note. We arrived on a Sunday night without a reservation, and the wait for a patio seat was only 15 minutes. We couldn't have been more grateful to be seated at the most socially distanced table on the patio the lone table on the elevated deck. We ordered beers (Voyageur for him, root for me) and a mixed green salad with anchovies to start. It was fresh and perfect, and I love that anchovies was an add on! He got the fresh fried fish of the day, and I got a special of pork loin with a mustard berry sauce. We both loved our entrees, which were seasoned and cooked well. I can't believe I got such a big balanced entree complete with protein, wild rice, and fresh veggies for under $20! We'll be back next time we're in Grand Marais for sure."

"After eating mostly greasy diner food on the north bank, we stopped because of the amazing salad pictures. Wow. You didn't disappoint. Fish of the day was fresh sea trout, paired with an incredible mustard dressing and humble fresh green salad. The outdoor seats were clean and breezy, the perfect place drinks a pot of tea while we waited for the food to come. There is an automatic 20% freeness added to all orders, so we do not need to type in addition. The staff was great and friendly, and one of the few places where the masks were still worn by the workers in the interior."

"I enjoyed the fajitas without sour cream and cheese and my friend enjoyed the jerry veggie packing and vegetarian chili (without sour cream and cheese and added gaucamole). we both loved eating because this place was recommended by our local friends as one of the best restaurants in grand marais for vegan options! we went out on a weekday outside to lunch and enjoyed listening to a musician playing live music on the street along the lakeside. great view, atmosphere and eating! it is close to to tons of cute local shops too!"

"Great Food, Fun Atmosphere. My Sister's Place is our favorite restaurant when visiting Grand Marais. They feature a great variety of sandwiches, pizzas, and a very interesting selection of gourmet hot dogs and burgers. One of the best Juicy Lucy's I've ever tried. Prices are reasonable and the staff is super friendly."
