"Had dinner here, consisting of mushroom soup for both of us. I also had the fish patties with salad and potatoes au gratin, and the husband did sausages and sauerkraut. The soup was great, and the service was reasonably attentive. Sausage was not memorable according...to my husband, but he enjoyed the sauerkraut as above average. My fish patties were densely packed and mild. There was no lemon or sauce to punch it up a little, so I dug out the lemon wedge from my drink to give them some tang. The potatoes au gratin were homestyle and good, and the salad was a nice fresh taste counterpoint to the fish and potatoes. All in all, a good place to eat dinner and at a reasonable price"

"For a short stop and nice ice cream I think the choice was not bad. Many varieties of Pizzas I could see...however I did not try them but they seemed good."

"after our Viking cruise in the old town and before the concert in st. stephens. I would read that they had pommes here and I was not disappointed! the waitress said they had something “Poppy seeds and raspberry” and it was delicious!"

"My husband and I enjoyed one of the best meals of our trip at this restaurant. We were greeted by the owners, served a wonderful meal and beverages, and enjoyed a break from the never ending monotony of American piped in music, and heard some nice, quiet recorded Bavarian music with our meal. It was a chilly night and the restaurant was very welcoming and warm."
