"Ive been in this city for the past 8 months and hands down this is the BEST Indian restaurant I?ve been to. The chefs have mastered the art of incorporating authentic Indian spices and flavour and they produce a variety of dishes. Along with the food the people who work here are very patient and helpful, I was so confused with what to order and they patiently took me through the entire menu. Lastly, for the quantity and taste I think the price is a perfect match. Would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to try what Indian food is like and also to those who want to reminisce about food from back home."

I visited this restaurant a few weeks ago with a friend. I was pleasantly surprised how great the customer service was. The ambience was also beautiful, but the food was amazing! Dakshin is a hidden jewel of South Charlotte.

Fantastic Indiana food! We've had fried cauliflower, garlic Roti, Chickpea Masala, Okra Masala and Basmati Rice. Everything was excellent but the Okra Masala was exceptional. They were also accommodating and made everything dairy free for us.

Eating is pretty good, but bad terrace ambience. Food is certainly very good here, much different from most Indian restaurants in the area. We have Tandoori roti, a cauliflower pepper fry, curry shaker and chicken manchurian. all tested very well. However, the Tandoori roti was not entirely wheat, it was made from all purposes flour. But it was pretty good. Four stars. But I give three stars because of the terrace ambience, it really needs to be improved. I'll upload some pictures they'll talk for themselves.
