"Food is very good. The staff is super friendly. You can sit outside or inside when you choose. But there are only two tables. This is one of my quick grab a bite to eat places in the city and bring love to my wife and children because they treat us like family. I eat here at least once a week."

"Pictured is the meatball mac and cheese. First time trying this place. It was some great mac. Next time I'd prefer to try this in house. I'd assume they would give you more mac. 4/5 for the price and portion. Taste of the mac and meatball combination was awesome and never something I would have tried before."

"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Eli's Bar in Branford, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! The Watermelon Strawberry Burrata was surprisingly delicious—such a unique and refreshing combination that I wasn't expecting to enjoy as much as I did. The Chicken Parm and Chicken Florentine were both absolutely amazing with a nice flavor. To top it all off, I tried the locally made Eli's Pilsner, which was a great complement to the meal. Our waitress, Maria, was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the evening. She made sure we had everything we needed and added a warm touch to our dining experience. I highly recommend Eli's Bar for anyone looking for great food, a cozy atmosphere, and top-notch service!"

"Tiny restaurant nestled between a liquor store and a hotel that has great quality cheese in their products. We ordered takeout. It was to be ready in about an hour. We walked by and the restaurant and it was not busy, so I wondered why it would take an hour to be ready. Ordered the meat lasanga which was mostly noodles and not much meat. The calzone was good if you like cheese. The quality of the cheese is fantastic. I will say that some members of our party loved this restaurant and have been recommending it to everyone. Personally we were not impressed."

"The owner is a complete jerk! We 've wanted to try this restaurant for a long time but now I never will set foot in the place. I made dinner reservations several days ago. I presume it was the owner that answered the phone. He spoke at 100 miles per hour and was, very bluntly stated, rude. Unfortunately, I had to cancel the reservation only a few hours prior to the time. I called the restaurant and the same person answered. Again, it had to be the owner. I told him that I had to cancel my reservation for that night. He IMMEDIATELY barked (and I mean BARKED) at me that I was supposed to cancel the reservation a day In advance. I apologized and I tried to tell him that my wife was sick from her radiation treatment she received that day for breast cancer but no sooner had I gotten the words my wife is sick out of my mouth then he BARKED BACK that 's too bad and he abruptly hung up on me . I guess I 'll never try this restaurant after all. Be forewarned the owner is a total jerk. He will never get a dollar from me."
