"Sat on terrace looking forward to buy a bottle of champagne and have some great food with friends. After being ignored surely 4 times by the waiter and waiting more than 20 minutes, decided to go to the takeaway instead. What we saw there was not any better. Potato wedges that probably sat there all day and inefficient and unfriendly service made us decide to leave and enjoy the fantastic views from up there. Location great, everything else: not so."

"Unfortunately had a bad experience here due to severe food poisoning after eating the dish 'rote bohnen ' in the associated restaurant. After a whole night on the toilet, I got the response at the reception 'well, could have been anything ' with a very dismissive attitude. That 's not how you treat guests. You ask or say you hope things get better soon and or say sorry and that you 're going to check the kitchen. Very unfriendly and unhelpful. Rooms: 3 Service: 1 Location: 3"

"Nostra Pizziera served tasty wood fired thin crusted pizzas (the 4 cheese pizza is soooo fragrant) and goes well with the spicy olive oil and garlic olive oil supplied at the table. The spaghetti bolognese was light and nice, tasted like it had a hint of white wine. We enjoyed the thick tangy tommato soup as well. Their menu prices were more moderate compared to many other restaurants and we ended up eating there practically every night of our 8N stay in Pontresina. They reserved our favourite table for the first sitting. The next sitting time is 8pm. Reservations are advisable. We enjoyed the welcoming friendly service by Mr. Stanko. The other male staff was serious but efficient. The female staff seemed to be rather unsmiling and surly though. It is a place we recommend for tasty pizzas."
