"We are staying in a nearby city Harsefeld, and our hostess suggesting spending time seeing Buxtehude. The city is old world quaint, cobble stone sidewalks and walking streets with plazas filled with tables for enjoying the evening. My surprise was finding Abthaus, it was the...front of building that drew me to the sailor sitting on the bench. We walked in and were warmly greeted to outdoor seating on the patio in the back of the dining room. Our meal was just the finishing touch of sightseeing in Buxtehude. We ordered roast beef, perfectly prepared with salad and the most delicious potatoes and ordered filet of fried fish, tender and juicy with mashed potatoes. Our dessert was walnut ice cream with an amazing chocolate mousse cake. Thank you to chef, staff and our waitress."

"The ambience in the restaurant is very nice and the service was friendly and welcoming. The card is clear, but I don't feel so negative, rather little and good for it. Steak and Burger were very good, the buffet is served here. The prices in Hamburg are rather at large city level, neither for food nor for drinks. For Buxtehude I would have expected at least a small discount. Food, beverages, service and ambience receive full score."

"we first arrived on a Friday night. the menu shows salmon. we ordered this cure and after a dae came the waiter back with the message ' no salmon . very strange to begin a weekend! we were forged to change our choice in. kalbschnitzel. a bottle of 0.75 liter water costs € 6.90"

"We have eaten at hundreds of restaurants over the years. This restaurant offers good food at a fair price. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the menu offers a great variety, service is quick, restaurant is very clean and seating is attractive. They do not accept credit cards. I am only giving them 3 stars because on a cool July evening the restaurant was extremely warm. Most of our fellow customers were fanning themselves to cool off since this restaurant is not air conditioned. Probably better to visit when it is cold outside."

"short is a visit to this restaurant every cent worth! eating is super tasty, the prices absolutely reasonable, and the service is very friendly and reliable. because I did not manage my main dish completely (we have just ordered and squeezed too many of the delicious appetizers, we left the restpack. When the cook asked us if everything was delicious and everything was to our satisfaction, he asked us why so much remains. I realized that he was seriously concerned about whether eating really tasted us or not and whether we were wasting guests. I think his performance is great and I was happy about it. so I told him again that it was super tasty, but I overhauled with all the appetizers. now I can enjoy a very tasty portion tikka masala in front of the television: we come here in future even more often definitiw and here will like to spend our money for qualitatiw high quality and tasty eating, great service and a beautiful environment. really the only manko was for me the wide table where we sat on four, as I like to make myself wide from comfort when eating. but then my kunpel would have had all the time my bow in his eating, which we wish the owner, his family and all the workers of the heart to continue doing good business! next time I visit I also make photos. I had just such a huge appetit on all the delicious things that I had only come to the idea after I pulverized everything"
