"Let me say this by saying that I am NOT checking the food here. The reason is simple: The service was so incredibly rude that we came out! And that's what my star rating reflects. Essentially, this is a guarantee for a bad customer service that costs this facility several hundred euros. We were on a bike tour along the Unstrut River and wanted a nice early dinner somewhere on the way. As a larger group we had split up on the way and two of us were instructed to find a suitable restaurant as a spearhead. Along, Zur Henne was beautifully located with an outdoor seating area that would easily accommodate our group. Some tables were taken, but there was plenty of room for our group. We went outside. It was Corona times, the restaurant had tied a part of the area, some tables closed, etc. We approached and saw a table with menus. Since we are a diverse group (some vegetarians, etc.), we thought it would probably be a good idea to make sure that the foods here were suitable for those who had food restrictions. Because why do you waste the restaurant staff and our own time when the food doesn't appeal to us? And so, apparently pretty stupid, we had the opportunity to look at one of the laminated menus that were right in front of us. BAD-Idee! We were immediately (and according to this from a member of the waiting staff who thought it would be a great idea to scream two middle-aged people instead of treating them respectfully like customers (I know what a new idea! . I can think of various ways to handle this better: instead of screaming to people, you could simply say I will be right with you! or Unfortunately, we require customers that we should be personal. But no, nothing of it. It is best to scream people in a rude way. There are some options on the way that I can choose to make my money in... It's just enough to find them with a phone. It is also easy enough to choose a good by reading reviews. That's how we ended up here! So we set the menu and left for greener pastures. There is no reason to treat strangers in this way when everything they have done is shown an interest in your restaurant to find out if the menu appeals to them and whether they eat or not. Heck, some restaurants even have the prospect of making menus available on the outside of their facility to allow potential customers only! Imagine! Or, crazy idea if you don't want people to look at your menus, how about if you don't have a dozen of them at the entrance? In the end, of course, we chose another restaurant and honestly I would never return to this place again. Some owners actually go to the trouble to read online reviews. If this is the case, please know what your employee has done for you: we were a group of ten. With prices of meals and drinks you can probably get about €25 €30 per person, €40 for some others. This unacceptable behaviour therefore costs you at least €300 in immediate costs. Pay attention to the cost of us to avoid your restaurant in the future and the costs associated with people who read negative reviews. While Corona, when many companies struggle to survive!"
