"Service was outstanding! The Baked Brie appetizer is to die for...comes with a jam (fig, I believe), walnuts, raspberries and blueberries. The Filet Mignon was amazingly soft and tasty: our group tasted three different finishing sauces, all very good. The “au poivre” was the best. The Creme Brûlée was very good too. The noise level was high, even though everyone seemed to be talking at a reasonable level. Has to do with the acoustics of the room."

"My rating is on the food - not on my server. The steak mignon was absolutely divine and the potatoes had to live! The best steak I cost! We hope that the cook would have visited our table, but it was wishful thinking! The staff signed a card that wished my husband a happy birthday... super sweet! Our server was pleasant until I drew attention to her that she spoke about our food. She was not polite in the sense of our food and gave us our food with her fingers near our food and our food. She basically ignored me. I guess she didn't know I treated my husband for dinner."

"My wife and I had three meals at Five while staying at Saint John's Resort. Two dinners and one breakfast. Each of my meals contained an error. The first dinner I ordered a filet and was served a ribeye. I never order ribeye so there isn't a chance that I did. My wife had the crabcakes which were just OK. Presentation was mediocre. I will say we started with a charcuterie platter which was very good and fairly priced. For breakfast a minor detail but my toast had no butter while my wife's did. another lack of attantion to detail. the second dinner I ordered a caesar salad and was brought a wedge. They swapped it out but nonetheless another mistake. Overall the food and the service was good. Managers did check with us about the first dinner mistake and I told them I would eat the ribeye which was good but no offer to discount the price or even lower the cost to the staek I actually ordered. So I would reccomend Five, but keep a close eye on what you ordeer and what you get. Oh, and by the way. A shot of Maker's is $11, OK not bad, but get it on the rocks and they charge you $2.50 for the ice. I could buy a whole bag of ice for that!"

"All well getting seated and greeted. Waiter was prompt to get our drink order then he disappeared. After min. I tracked him down. He had failed to put inn the drink order. We received our drinks min after being seated. He failed other times to bring requested items to our table. Seemed to be over seated. Did not apologize for poor service"
