I ordered the Carne Asada, as you know it?s thin steak, it was over cooked, no seasoning- bland. And both our food came to us cold- we waited 40 min for our meal. The rice was so horrible we could not even eat it- no where resembled or tasted like Spanish rice. Good local Mexican food with a bar. Chips with salsa and a creamy ranchy dip served with drinks. Our waiter was very patient as we chatted before the order. You have an extensive menu. You add a service fee if you pay by credit card.

Service was good! She was provisional. Service 4/5. The food was 2/5. The food was well cooked and too much cheese sauce. It was as if they knew that they overcooked it and tried to hide it with cheese sauce. The restaurant was big, so much unused space, was not busy at all. There were some random spots during half the unused restaurant. The bathrooms were kind of rough, flies, the cleaner sat on the counter. Not sure I'd go back.

I called to make a pick-up order, but I was told to keep before my order. The lady put the phone down and started talking to someone very loud and we could hear the whole personal conversation. She never came back to take our order. He waited almost 5 minutes. retrieved several times over the next 15 minutes and the line was busy. So gave up and ordered elsewhere. Maybe. I will try again in the future or perhaps not. I usually go to Theresa Mexican, but El Loro is closer to my house.
