"My go-to place for Tex-Mex food. Very diverse menu with a section of wonderful chef's specialties. Very friendly staff. The free chips and salsa are usually on the table as I'm sitting down. Plenty of parking near the two front entrances. They are kid-friendly with several high chairs. I usually eat here weekly. They are closed on most national holidays so plan accordingly."

I stop here for lunch quite often. Food is always good and owner and wait staff are very fast and attentive.

I've had alot better Mexican food in central Texas. Service was not great. No napkins , wait on tea refill. Waiter couldn't hardly even speak English.

Looking for a place to finally eat after a tough week due to hurricane and they serve us chips with a side of roaches in the chips. Nasty. Not hating, and I have a busy life but some things are worth making time for. Wouldn’t recommend this place after something like that. Horrible almost traumatizing experience.

"We sat down, the table next to us just got their dinners. It looked really good. Plates piled high with food. My wife ordered a burger. I got the French dip. How disappointing. My sandwich looked like a shriveled LITTLE piece of bread with some tough beef. I also opted for onion rings. All 6 of them were tasty.Seriously, after we left, we drove to the grocery store nearby so I could buy a sandwich.Will we be back? No. Not at all. And the parking lot was full? "Don't let the outside looks fool you. this place is a gem! Patrick is FANTASTIC and his costumer service skills are through the roof. Yes, I can sit here and talk about the outside and inside esthetics not being mind blowing. But Patrick keeps the place clean and the Food is Amazing! I mean, at the end of the day, that is what really matters, right? In my opinion, this is the best place to get Chinese food in the Clute/Lake Jackson area. Go give them a try!"

"Sorry to say, our experience was less than good. The floor was dirty with traffic shoe prints. Dirty dishes were on the tables and no other customers were dining for lunch. Maybe they had a huge rush and short staffed? We used to come regularly so I sincerely hope they can resolve this and go back to the level they were prior."

"The food is so good! I have no complaints whatsoever. Their deserts are as good as The Grill in Angleton, Tx. I've tried all the breakfasts around the area and by far Picket Fence is number 1. Their eggs are done to perfection and hash browns are way better than Ihop and Denny's or anywhere else and so is the bacon. I like the fact that one waiter knew I was hard of hearing and he was nice enough to turn on the CC on the TV without me asking and he made sure I needed anything. He deserved my tip. They have Picket Fence in Angleton, Tx and the Clute one is better. Angleton needs improvement. I'm sure everyone's opinion differs than mine but to be honest you should go try the place out and see for yourself."

"Was NOT happy with the food or service really! When we arrived it was an hour or so before they were to close so we get seated and notice the waitress putting up all the chairs around us and started sweeping around us. That gave me the impression that we needed to rush. Then our food comes out totally not what I was expecting because my son ordered nuggets fries and he only got 3 nuggets and they put some kind of homemade corn dogs in with it which is great but he doesn't eat corn dogs and we never asked for that. So he was still hungry when we left. 7.99+tax for that meal for him. Then I noticed a man walking by our table carrying a dog and to me totally unsanitary. I will not be going back. Sorry not Sorry"
