I when on a Sunday in order meatloaf and blackeye pea and potatoes hot water corn bread the meat was to sweet for me but everything else was good

Asked for special chicken fried chicken and brought me chicken fried steak when asked was told that special was over and it's what I was offered and signs still up Mother asked for Coffee and said they didn't have any made and didn't offer to make a fresh pot. Was almost 50 bucks for 3 people . Doubtful that I will return 3rd try last time was there 20 minutes and order had still not been taken nor did not have time to wait and not busy at all.

Maybe it was late and the night before they shut down a few days for vacation or maybe they had a bad day. As you see I ordered a PC and Wing with mash and yams. Not a stellar combo, but it's what they has for sides. I wanted cabbage but came to tell me minutes later they were out. The meat was a little overdone, mash had an overwhelming parm flavor, yams didn't quite hit either. Overall the wing was decent. I will try them again during the day to see if I can change my rating. I'm sure they do better when not rushing or ready to go. Prices were right.
