"I used some miles and cash to secure this spot, chosen mostly for being close to a colleague’s office and free parking. So glad I stayed here. First, the hotel is well air conditioned. Walked into my room and it was almost like the North Pole, before climate change. However, I didn’t realize that there were two thermostats and it took a while to add the climate change back into the mix. Second, my room was clean and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. That could be because I was on the second floor so consider that floor if you like water pressure. The lobby appears outdated and somewhat dirty, but fortunately, the room was clean and well-maintained, including the bathroom. The breakfast was good, slightly above average. There is ample parking available.

Our stay at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Portland, Maine, was exceptional! From the moment we checked in, the staff was warm and welcoming. The suite was spacious, clean, and perfect for our family. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and had a variety of options to suit everyone’s taste. Miguel, our 11-year-old, particularly enjoyed the pool and the evening reception with snacks and drinks. The location is convenient, close to the airport and downtown Portland. We highly recommend this hotel for families looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!
