"The manager on duty was Keeyana More!!! On Oct 17 at 8:50 me and my family of 4 walked in to firehouse subs. We had just got done with a late ball game. When we walked in we were greeted so kindly. I explained how sorry I was that it was 10 minutes until close and everyone in the restaurant assured us it was okay. Especially the manager, she went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. She was sooo friendly and kind. You just don't get that kind of customer service around here like that anymore and it was refreshing. Even my young children commented on how nice she was!!! We will continue to eat here and will also let friends and family know how amazing the customer service is. Beyond...

We are a family of six and have ordered subs from here several times. The subs are big and good quality. They have a nice variety of subs to choose from, or you can create your own. We just ordered our subs online this time, and it was much easier. Usually, with a big order and all of the specific requests for each sub, we have difficulty getting our order placed properly by the cashier. Online, we are able to make sure what we want or don't want on the sub is accurate. They are usually pretty quick, even when waiting. Our online order was ready when we arrived. Good solid go-to place when you want subs. Parking: Parking lot in front of restaurant.

"I reserved a table for four several weeks in advance on Open Table. I specifically requested one of the half-round booths in the balcony since we were bringing some good friends to help us celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary. I called one day before the reservation to confirm they would be able to accommodate the request. The young lady confirmed it would be no problem since we were dining early (5:45 pm). I even called the day of the reservation a few hours before to confirm yet again, as I wanted our friends(who had not dined @WCK before) to enjoy the great view from the lowest balcony level of the open kitchen. Upon arrival, I asked the hostess if they were still going to be able to accommodate my special request. She nodded yes and away we went upstairs. Unfortunately, the hostess seated us in the highest level at an end table that could not even see the lower level. I was very disappointed but didn’t say anything since all of the booths appeared to be occupied. I understand things happen and our guests did not complain, but I was disappointed that the restaurant could not accommodate my repeated request from several weeks earlier. Other than the non-existent view and rather cramp space of the top corner table (plus it was a bit warm), service by Lex and the food was excellent. The server who brought our iced teas (one sweet one unsweet) misidentified them and caused an additional delay while one was replaced since I sipped from the wrong one. My wife also noticed the Box Office salad is now in a plate instead of the normal bowl that we have seen previously. She thought it was smaller than before and the presentation was not as nice. The entrees (filet, parma grana chicken, short rib, prime rib) all received good reviews. Taste temperature of the food was very good. All in all- a 4* experience that could have been 5* had we been given the booth requested repeatedly promised. We still love the place and will be back with other friends family."

"Wasn't expecting this place to be as authentic as they are. Had the lengua and asada tacos. Really good seasoning and meat. No chewy carne asada. The lengua was cooked all the way. Tortillas were bag tortillas but they were lightly fried which helps with the texture and flavor. Salsas available were tasty and some spicy. Tony was a great server. Very attentive and polite. My mom ordered a zucchini and something else taco, i think it was beans, which she didn't like and he quickly got it replaced with a lengua taco and didn't charge the difference. Place is pretty clean. Ambience music is subtle and enjoyable. Tried to go there on Aug 15th but they didn't have enough people available to work. Will continue to go here and refer friends to it."

"Best cheese steak in Gastonia! The pizza was amazing too. Oh, and don't sleep on the ranch.... you'll want to dip everything in it, lol! Inside is small, but very clean. You can dine in.
