"Based on the star review we were a little skeptical. We are huge Google reviewers and pay attention to reviews. Rarely will we go to a place that has less than 4 stars. BUT, when reading the bad reviews. I got a giggle from the answers that the owner gives and honestly felt he was right in most instances...so we took the chance! SO happy we did! This place was the cleanest restaurant I have ever seen, the service was fantastic and the food was the best we have had in the week we have been here! And... It doesn't hurt that it's 5 mins from our campground. Dave had the French toast with sausage. Thick bread, perfectly cooked with 4 sizable links of sausage. I had the Country Fries, scrambled eggs with onions and peppers and home fries all mixed in. I added a side of their sausage gravy as well and it was amazing. Enough for me to bring home for another meal! We didn't have one bad experience, except for maybe the fly that was buzzing around, but anywhere that you open a door, a fly will come in LOL We are here 3 more weeks and will definitely return!!"

"Loved the retro decoration in this fantastic journey back to time... I mean, Diner! My child wanted his picture everywhere inside and enjoyed getting some goodies from the quarter machines while waiting for a table. Around 8 a.m. on Friday there was a good piece of people, but still many tables in this mini dinner. Wait, while very friendly, was quite slow, even bringing us menus, which is why I give this place a 4 instead of 5. We waited about 10 minutes just to have brought menus to us that we used the 10 minutes while they were busy to view the menus select or eat. When we finally got her, our waitress was pretty attentive from there, which was great. I have an old-fashioned milkshake with real ice cubes and fresh fruit. It was DELISH! The food was also great. Pricing a tiny bit higher than what I expected, but nothing too inappropriate $6 for a milkshake, $6 or $7 for 2 pancakes short stacks without sides). You also have a beer refrigerator that the males come to buy beer/wine and a few people enjoy a beer at the table top. Would definitely recommend checking this cool place when you are in the area!!"

"Found this place last night and had to come back again tonight. Definitely worth the drive from Lebanon. Jenny is an amazing waitress and the rest of the staff is great as well!! Really appreciate how everyone comes by to make sure we are doing well with our meal. Food is out of this world! We will definitely be back!!"

"On the other day stopped with my son, ordered 2 simple Cheeseburger, 1 small Cheeseburger Sub, 2 Pommes, 2 Sodas and 2 small ice cone, $35.00 Wow!!!! Hardly any frits on the plates and there were only 1 meat patty in half cut on my sub, really skip!!! previous little subs had 2 patty's on!!! I am with Buddy's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Stopped there for dinner today (June 12, 2022). Absolutely horrible. Service was super slow. We waited 40 minutes for appetizers. When the food arrived I immediately noticed a FOUL smell. It was the nachos. They smelled like rotting flesh. I almost threw up. I took it to the counter and make the servers smell it. They said oh, is that where the smell is coming from? And, something blew in from the fan. I said, Ladies, no, that 's Salmanilla. Absolutely gross. The did do one god thing, not charge us. We left and didn 't eat anything. Even IF I believed the story that something blew in, which I don 't, no food should have been served after that. I feel everyone else eating there will be sick tonight. I would give it no stars, if I could."
