"We ordered the fish soup, sea trout and burgers. Each article was the best version of this dishes we had ever cooked and perfectly seasoned. Very delicate but tasty aromas over the board. My only complaint is that it is so good and we had no place to taste dessert!! Zero space for improving food. There were some small comments to improve: 1. There was no beverage menu offered, our waiter only asked what we wanted to drink, which is not a big thing, but some people would like to see a menu: 2. The place was busy, and our waiter seemed a little hurry was hard to fly it sometimes. No deal breaker. Would recommend and come back in a heartbeat!!! Make sure that reservations are in advance!"

"it felt like we were not welcome and a last. the staff was rather rude, not welcome and dismissed. Maybe they had a bad day, but it seemed like a bad summer, and I don't treat people like I had a bad day. That was okay."

"Nice place. The waitress was sweet and smiling. We order Vegan Lasagna and Lamb Shank. Lasagna was good, but not American/Italian version. Another good taste. Something that made me hungry. Woman ordered Lamb Shank and hose were good."

"Nice little restaurant, but the staff seems somewhat overwhelmed and could be a bit more friendly. The pizza was delicious and the homemade garlic sauce should die. However, the burger did not come as ordered. Instead of double meat (as in the menu), there was only one patch and there was no cheese at all. Unfortunately, the frits were cold and excessively salted. We would have expected more for the price."

"Oh man, Jamie W. and I still had a half hour left before boarding our fjord cruise boat scheduled to get us back to Ålesund in gasp 3 1/2 hours. We just finished our lunch at Cafe Ole review: bit.ly/3ckj0Zb , but we couldn 't help but notice the tall soft serve cones that a lot of kids were getting. Our inner children were speaking to us and whispering in my ear... Dude, you know you want one. Never mind that you 're way too old and pudgy to deserve one, but hey, don 't let that stop you. Gee, I hate that inner voice. But we saw this spot down the path from Cafe Ole and went for it, the 49 NOK $5 Softis. They offered toppings which they turned into an exercise in dipping dexterity. The server botched his first attempt at adding rainbow sprinkles as the soft serve fell out of the cone as he turned it in the bowl, but his second try was a success photo: bit.ly/3T9jRg0 . Yep, it hit the spot. Dude, you deserve it. That wasn 't my inner voice, that was me in self validation mode. SOFT SERVE 4 stars...creamy indulgence AMBIANCE 3.5 stars...it was just a window but hey, Geiranger is gorgeous SERVICE 4 stars...no penalty for the botched initial dipping TOTAL 4 stars...
